Our Lifetime Fixed Price Service Agreement provides special benefits to our customers. It is a form of insurance against the breakdown or malfunction of a customer’s comfort equipment. Through regular maintenance, your equipment is well prepared for extreme weather conditions. We, in turn, are not overloaded with calls during the inevitable adverse weather periods. It is a win-win situation for all of us!

This service agreement provides a comprehensive program at a moderate price. In many cases, an annual agreement costs LESS THAN ONE emergency call.

Rod Miller, Inc. is an established, full service independent contractor. We have the staff and equipment to fully support our service. Our service technicians are professional, dependable, and qualified to service your heating and air-conditioning equipment. They are trained and certified by the leading manufacturers in the HVAC industry.

PRIORITY SCHEDULING

Preferred Contract customers are given priority service. In case of a seasonal emergency, PRIORITY SCHEDULING will get you back on line with the least possible delay. There will be no overtime charges.

Service Plans

We will adjust the level of service to meet your particular preferences. Choose from THREE PLANS.

PLAN I - Basic Maintenance Plan

We perform a 14-point check and put your system in peak operating condition - once before winter and once before summer. This plan covers the labor charge for both seasonal checks. Parts are not included. Any additional service calls for breakdowns will get priority service but at the regular rate. Inspections must be scheduled by the customer prior to expiration or they are forfeited. 

PLAN II - Performance Plan

This plan includes all of PLAN I, plus unlimited labor, at no charge, for priority service calls and breakdowns all year long. Parts are not included.

PLAN III - Premium Plan

This plan is the preference of many customers because labor and most materials are covered throughout the year. As in the other plans, service calls are guaranteed within 24 hours.

Features of Our Service Agreement

With our quality service, Rod Miller Heating & Air Conditioning will provide our customers with the proper maintenance of HVAC equipment that is essential for the system to perform its Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) function. We protect your central heating and cooling systems, water heater, humidifier, and electrostatic air cleaners.

Here is what we do

Rod Miller, Inc. will perform the following labor:

AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM

1. Check refrigerant charge and operating pressures
2. Check voltage and amperage to all motors with meter
3. Check air temperature drop across evaporator
4. Check evaporator superheat
5. Check and lubricate all moving parts when applicable
6. Check belt and adjust tension when applicable
7. Check filters
8. Check pressure switch cut-out setting
9. Check electrical lock out circuits
10. Check all wiring and connections
11. Adjust thermostat
12. Check air temperature across condenser
13. Check for dirty condenser coil
14. Check that condensate drain is open. Turn exposed dampers to cooling position, if marked.

HEATING SYSTEM

1. Adjust thermostat
2. Clean and adjust all safety controls
3. Vacuum clean burners and controls if necessary
4. Test ignition components
5. Adjust burner for efficiency
6. Check for gas leak in the furnace
7. Check and lubricate all moving parts when applicable
8. Check belt and adjust tension when applicable
9. Check flue pipe
10. Shut down central air conditioner per customer request
11. Turn exposed dampers to heating position, if marked
12. Activate humidifier if applicable
13. Check all circuit boards and electronics
14. Check total performance and operating efficiency of heating system
